Our History

Ajustco’s mission is to provide simple solutions to common problems found in the retail hardware market and the construction industry. Born out of the belief that there can always be a better way, Ajustco is committed to developing innovative solutions that drive real value, give time back in your day, and alleviate the everyday headaches of the modern builder.

It all started with Jason Stile having a dream for the Ajustlock in 2008.  The effort the initial team made to manifest that dream built the powerful foundation for this company.  Ajustco spent the first five years taking this initial innovation to market, successfully landing the product in over 20,000 hardware retail locations worldwide.  You can find AjustLock in Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Tractor Supply, and many other well-known retail locations globally.  Partnering with major distributors helped us to scale our reach beyond what we could manage on our own.

With decades of experience ranging from the jobsite to operations, the Ajustco family of products have been created by construction professionals for construction professionals. When Jamie Walsh found the Anchor Thread System having known the inventors for many years, Ajustco knew that it fit its overall company mission and had the potential to impact construction companies directly.

Anchor Thread has revolutionized the industry so much that in 2020 the NYC DOB awarded Ajustco with its safety innovation challenge and wrote the system into NYC building code.  Ajustco also received a first-place award from Liberty Mutual Insurance for developing the best construction safety innovation in 2021.

All of this success, coupled with landing large purchase orders from notable industry leaders, led Ajustco to gain the attention of the largest new construction distributor in North America, White Cap.  Without hesitation we signed an exclusive agreement with them to distribute Anchor Thread and haven’t looked back since.
